Redlaw Shearing provide steel stockholding services of high grade electrical steels for the Tranformers and associated industries. In addition, they also manufacture electrical laminations to customers specific requirements and can supply the steel to do so or operate upon a free issue basis, using client supplied materials
The company uses primarily British produced high quality electrical steels and has, over time, forged close technical links with blue chip suppliers including Cogent and others. Products are usually quoted on an ex works basis however, delivery can be arranged to UK mainland addresses - please ask for details. Redlaw Shearing uses in house machinery, as required, to fabricate laminations to exacting specifications including precise location of punched holes - allowing clients to assemble the finished laminations for transformers, formers, magnets etc. In this connection the company can assist with the design of the lamination templates and are always willing to provide technical input at quotation stage.
Some examples of work are shown throughout this site - all of these products have been custom made to specific requirements and each customer is dealt with on an individual basis.
